Sigit Pramono obtained his Ph.D. from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Beppu, Japan, master of accounting from Kulliyah of Economics and Management Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Kuala Lumpur, and Bachelor of Economics, Major in Accounting from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia, Jakarta. In 2015 he also joined Chevening Fellow at University of Bradford, United Kingdom focused on Government Economic Reform and Regulation Course Sigit pramono is an expert in the field of islamic accounting and Good Corporate Governance, auditing, economic development, Islamic economics and finance.

This holder of certification from IAPI and IAI is well known as a researcher, writer, speaker of national and international conference, and member of many professional associations such as the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public of Accountants (IAPI), the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI), the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economist (IAEI), Board of Centre for Communication of Sharia Economics (PKES), Expert Board ISEFID, Kuala Lumpur, and Management of Shari’ah Economics Society (MES).

Prior to joining KAP Razikun Tarkosunaryo (KAP RTS), Sigit Pramono had been an auditor at Ernst & Young, Hanadi, Sarwoko & Sandjaja Public Accountant Firm, Jakarta, and KPMG (Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler), Hanadi Soedjendro Public Accountant Firm, Jakarta. Currently he is a partner at KAP RTS and chairman of School of Islamic Economics (Shari'ah Economics and Banking Institute), Jakarta.
